Do you care about the natural environment? Would you like to make a difference in the quality of life in your community? Are you interested in helping to preserve native landscapes? Would you like to teach others about how they can help protect the environment or careers in the environment? Are you unemployed, underemployed, retired, or looking for a career change? Are you a college student looking for an internship in marketing, advertising, geography, planning, natural sciences, education or similar major? Are you a high school student looking to fulfill community service hours?
No matter what your motivation, if your answer to any of these questions is "yes," then please consider becoming a volunteer for the San Diego Habitat Conservancy.
Volunteers are always in need to assist with our field activities, outreach, membership campaign, fundraising, marketing, educational programs, administration, and organizational management. No matter what your background or desire, we have the need for your assistance. It could be for one-day activities such as weeding and trash removal at our preserves; sustained volunteer activities such as researching, tracking, and writing grants; or more long-term involvement such as leading our outreach campaign or becoming a board member. Experience is helpful, but not necessary. Passion for our Mission is required. If you would like to volunteer please contact Don Scoles at 619-668-7474 or by email at dons@sdhabitat.org
